Purpose-Built Protection and Tripod Mounting for the Nexus

Designed specifically for the Nexus, the Spyder Tech RTK Full Cradle is a substantial, purpose-built mounting system for anglers who want something more secure, stable and refined than a basic controller tray or clip.

Manufactured in-house from engineering-grade glass-fibre reinforced ABS, the cradle surrounds and supports the handset with a rigid full-frame structure while retaining clear access to the controls, antennas and rear cooling system.

The open truss design keeps the central rear heat sink, cooling fan and speakers exposed, maintaining airflow while giving the cradle its distinctive lightweight, engineered appearance.

The cradle uses a mechanically assembled construction, incorporating front and rear structural trusses, reinforced end yokes, upright rail plates and a dedicated central mounting section.

Assembly is completed using M4 ultra-low-profile A2 stainless-steel Allen fasteners and heat-set threaded inserts, providing a strong, clean and serviceable finished product.

Integrated 1/4″-20 Tripod Mount

At the centre of the lower frame is an integrated 1/4″-20 UNC mounting point, allowing the cradle to connect directly to compatible tripod equipment.

With the supplied adaptor, the cradle can also be mounted to a bank stick, making it equally at home on the bank or as part of a dedicated tripod setup.

The metal threaded insert is engineered directly into the substantial central mounting section rather than relying on a screw driven into the printed material, providing a strong and dependable mechanical interface between the cradle and your chosen support.

Designed Around the Nexus

This isn’t a universal tablet holder adapted to fit.

The cradle has been developed specifically around the Nexus handset, with repeated design iterations focused on fit, rigidity, mounting stability, one-handed handset removal, unrestricted access and a clean, professional appearance.

The handset sits securely within the full-frame structure while the open design keeps the controls readily accessible without unnecessarily enclosing the controller.

Designed & Manufactured In-House

The cradle has been CAD designed and developed in-house by Spyder Tech RTK, allowing every aspect of the structure to be tailored specifically around the Nexus Pro.

Every cradle is also manufactured and assembled in-house by Spyder Tech RTK.

The engineering-grade glass-fibre reinforced ABS construction provides the rigidity required for a substantial full-frame mounting system while allowing us to create the complex truss structure and purpose-designed handset fit.

This is not simply a thin printed shell. It is a mechanically assembled structural cradle designed specifically around a premium ground-control handset.

Signature Spyder Tech RTK Finish

A dedicated front logo plate completes the cradle, featuring our distinctive SPYDER TECH RTK branding.

The branding is produced as an inlaid feature rather than an applied sticker, allowing the logo to remain flush with the surface of the front plate for a cleaner, more permanent finish.

The black structural frame and signature orange detailing give the cradle a purposeful appearance that complements the Nexus Pro.

Built for a Premium Controller

The Nexus is a serious piece of ground-control equipment, and we wanted its mounting system to reflect that.

Instead of reducing the design to the minimum amount of material required to hold the handset, the Spyder Tech RTK Full Cradle uses a complete structural frame, proper threaded hardware and a dedicated tripod interface to create a mounting solution that looks and feels appropriate alongside the Nexus.
