Nexus Controller Upgrade for Existing RTX Autopilot Customers

The Nexus Controller upgrade is available for existing supported RTX Autopilot customers who want to move from the standard Flysky controller and tablet setup into a cleaner, more integrated control platform.

This upgrade has been selected and configured for Spyder Tech RTX installations, giving customers a compact all-in-one controller suitable for Carp Pilot Pro, RTX Autopilot functions, supported camera systems and future RTX ecosystem features.

This is not a standalone retail controller. It is supplied and configured as part of a supported Spyder Tech RTX Autopilot upgrade.

Qualcomm Android Platform

The Spyder Tech Nexus Controller is built around a modern Qualcomm 6nm Android platform, providing smooth operation for supported ground-control software, video handling and RTX-related applications.

With Android 13 and hardware decoding support for H.264/H.265 and 4K video streams, the platform is well suited to demanding bait-boat control and monitoring tasks.

7-inch High-Brightness HD Display

The controller features a compact 7-inch high-definition, high-brightness display, giving users a clear view of mapping, telemetry, camera feeds and control information.

Its smaller form factor makes it a practical choice for customers who want an integrated RTX control platform without moving to the larger Nexus Pro display.

Long Battery Life and Fast Charging

The controller is designed for long sessions at the bank, with battery life of approximately 8–12 hours depending on use.

It also supports 36W PD fast charging, helping keep the system ready for extended use while reducing downtime between sessions.

Long-Range Control and Image Transmission

The Nexus Controller platform supports long-distance digital image transmission and remote-control communication for supported Spyder Tech RTX systems.

For RTX Autopilot customers, this provides a more integrated route for boat control, live information and video compared with a separate controller and tablet arrangement.

Dual-Band 2.4GHz / 5.8GHz Communication

The system supports both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz communication bands, with automatic switching based on the operating environment and signal conditions.

This helps improve signal stability, transmission efficiency and anti-interference performance when operating in real-world fishing environments.

Designed for the RTX Ecosystem

The Nexus Controller is intended to support the wider RTX ecosystem, including:

The Nexus Controller Upgrade is available only for existing supported RTX Autopilot customers.

This upgrade includes the configuration and integration work required to move from the standard controller and tablet arrangement to the Nexus Controller platform.

Compatibility depends on the customer’s existing boat, RTX installation, wiring, telemetry setup and required features.
